Los usuarios de Switch podrán hacerse, muy pronto, con la colección de clásicos retro de SEGA Mega Drive Classics, ya que la editora ha anunciado que el volumen debutará en la híbrida de Nintendo el jueves 6 de diciembre de 2018 con más de 50 juegos retro como The Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star II, Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog y otros. Como en las ediciones previamente lanzadas, los títulos contarán con características modernizadas añadidas a la colección como el multijugador online, los logros, modos espejo, la posibilidad de rebobinar y guardar. La edición para Switch, además, permite jugar en televisión, modo portátil y con la pantalla y los mandos aparte.
